Slavia Prague defender Igoh Ogbu has been called up by Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle for the 35^th Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). Conveniently, the Czech season has started its winter break, so the AFCON break doesn’t disrupt his club team beyond not having a break – the same applies in Scandinavia.

Ogbu shared his thoughts on the forthcoming AFCON, that he was devastated by the international retirement of long-term Super Eagles captain, William Troost Ekong and when he would like AFCON to be played if he had the choice.
